About Us
History
Chung-Yen Engineering Co., Ltd. was established on May 21, 1981. In January 1985, the company set up a factory in Ligang Township, Pingtung County, and began undertaking small-scale outsourced projects for CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC), gradually progressing to medium- and large-scale projects. In April 2017, the company was renamed Chung-Yen International Technology & Engineering Co., Ltd.
The company has steadily built its reputation in the engineering industry through construction and maintenance projects for CPC and Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), gaining a wide range of specialized experience. Notable achievements include the construction of a CPC chimney 87.5 meters high, dismantling and replacement (including fabrication and installation) of a 100-meter-high decommissioned combustion tower, and high-pressure heat exchangers subjected to hydrostatic tests of 290 kg/cm² and pneumatic tests of 210 kg/cm². The company has also been involved in the design, fabrication, installation, and performance testing of Taipower’s HVAC equipment, as well as the manufacturing and installation of heat exchangers for the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Ministry of National Defense, among others.
In recent years, the company has assisted Sinopec in constructing several small- to medium-scale experimental plants, completing all aspects of civil foundations, plant steel structures, equipment, and piping design, fabrication, and installation through the Chung-Yen team.

Our management philosophy is to build on past manufacturing strengths while enhancing the company’s organizational structure and expanding the design team, enabling the company to handle everything from design and fabrication to installation and final performance testing in-house.
